Tim (Qinsong) Guo is a first-year Mechanical Engineering PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University. He earned his BS degree from NYU, where he was an honorary GLASS scholar and the leader of NYU Self-Drive. Tim has conducted interdisciplinary research across computational biology, soft robotics, and visual navigation, publishing in IEEE and Scientific Reports. Beyond the lab, his study abroad experiences in Denmark and Indonesia, along with an international internship in China, developed his global problem-solving skills. In his graduate studies, Tim aims to further his research and communication skills to create a broader impact in academia and the world.
